The Ahool is a large cryptid found in Indonesian jungles. The creature's name is derived from its long-winded call: "ahOOOoooolll"
Appearance & Description Edit
The Ahool resembles a bat, with fur, leathery wings, and sharp claws on its feet and wings. The creatures are known to eat fish, and are nocturnal. However, unlike regular bats, the Ahool has a wingspan of 10 feet (3 meters) wide.
The most common explanation for the Ahool's identity is that it is an unknown species of giant bat. Other theories include a winged primate species, a form of giant owl, or surviving pterosaurs.
