Big Bird had a basic description like a pterosaur or bird: 2 wings, 2 legs, a beak. Some other descriptions gave Big Bird a monkey-like face or a lack of beak; sometimes both

Big Bird is thought to be a new species of large bird; maybe related to the Thunderbird. Also, they could be pterosaurs. Those sighted without beaks are connected to bats.
