Champ is a North American lake monster, dwelling in Lake Champlain. Lake Champlain borders both New York and Vermont. It is a protected creature in both places. Reports of Champ were actually reported by the media 50 years before the media reported Nessie.
Appearance & DescriptionEdit
Champ is a creature similar to Scotland's Loch Ness Monster, with a long neck, round body, and 4 flippers. However, Champ is much smaller than Nessie, averaging around 15 feet long.
Theories explaining the existence of Champ are similar to those of the Loch Ness Monster, including relict plesiosaurs, unknown amphibians or fishes, or hoaxes and misinterpretations.
