The Rift Valley Monster is found in, as the name suggests, Africa's Rift Valley. Modern sightings are rare, but natives of the Rift Valley acknowledged the cryptid's existence.

The Rift Valley Monster is a four-legged, reptilian creature. It eats meat, and the most prominent feature is the large spine or ridge running down its back.
Theories/Explanations[]
The Rift Valley Monster is thought to be a living prehistoric Dimetrodon or Edaphosaurus or maybe a dinosaur known as Spinosaurus, similar to the Nguma-monene. The two cryptids may actually may be one and the same.
